How do you talk to girls?

I just am really awkward talking to girls face to face. I can chat with them for hours on facebook and stuff, but when it gets down to it, I make up some excuse and run for it. How do you do it?How do you talk to girls?
There's no other way, you gotta face your fear and just DO IT.

It's totally not scary, prepare what you're gunna say if that makes it easier, and hopefully the conversation will flow after that. Remember to be YOURSELF and don't try too hard. Just take a deep breath and do it. If you like, think of someone you know who is very confident with girls. Close your eyes for a second and really pretend you're him. (I know I said be yourself but this will hopefully give you the confidence to begin with, after that, be you) Now think, if I were him, how would he do this? Just walk up to girls and chat to them like they're your sister or your guy mates. Afterwards you will feel GREAT and hopefully more confident. Hope this helps :)How do you talk to girls?
well the facebook way is a start, when it comes to actually talking to them, just start with asking them how they are from there if you like them make a stupid joke which no one would laugh at is she laughs then she likes you from there while the tension is cut ask her if she wouldn't mind doing something one day and then take it from there
lol I used to be like that. You just have to be calm and try to not care what they think about you. If you have confidence in yourself, you won't have any problems talking to girls. Just try to think of yourself as an equal to everyone. Not any better and not any worse. That's how I got rid of my ';fear'; of talking to girls. Good luck! ^__^
well, there really shouldn't be anything to worry about, we don't bite. :) but just try being calm, if they know u and u know them, u should feel more comfortable talking to them, knowing that this isnt a new situation. Next time dont make a run for it, instead, make eye contact, share ur thoughts and be a good listener. If u get it over with once, u know u can do it again, but with more ease.
me, i just realized, whats the worst that could happen, so, i took i deep breath, grew some balls, and just talk to her. just make her laugh and compliment her hair, or clothes, ask her about her day, just keep asking(just nothing stupid or perverted), and take it from there
