How to talk to girls in highschool?

Im a junior in highschool ive been here both years just starting 3rd year and ive never been able to talk to girls with out it getting awkwardly silentHow to talk to girls in highschool?
We like to hear you babble on about nothing so just go on talking about what your likes and dislikes are. If there is a silence just smile and say ';well I can see who is talkative today.'; and make sure its not in a cocky tone of voice.

The trick is to let them talk. Ask them what their interests are, what kind of music they like, what their plans for the weekend are. One thing you'll learn about girls is that they love to talk about themselves.



It also helps if you're not a complete loser. You can be the ugliest sad sack in the world, but you have to have confidence -- it's what seperates the guys in highschool.
-Go to more social events. Like basketball games and football games.And let people get to know you

-If you really uncomfortable you can just say hi to them in the hall, and thats all until you feel comfortable talking to them in a conversation.

-Talk to the girls next to you locker. Just say hows it going and thats all you have to say.

-Talk to people in your class next to you. Get to know them. Have them help you on assignments even though you don't need help.

-Join school clubs

-Just talk to someone new at lunch



Overcome your fear of talking to people by putting yourself out there. It's the only way to improve. So if you want a girlfriend you have to make an effort to meet them. If a relationship doesn't have communication you don't have anything.



I understand how you feel, im shy myself. All i can say is just choose someone or if someone talks to you make an effort to keep the conversation going. Look them in the eye. I myself need to work on that. And not only get to know the person but let them get to know you. If you know something something about the person for example lol: you know judy is going to be in the play ask her how the play is going and and what part she plays in it. Just ask questions. People usually like to give there opinions about themselves.
