How to talk to girls that you've never met before?

Ok like it's easy for me to say Hi or talk with girls I know. I been doing that for awhile plus I've had several girlfriends but the one thing I can't do is say Hi or start talking with girls that I don't know. That's one thing I struggle with. Like at a fair or something. How do you approach girls? or would they approach me? and I mean not alone just with one other friend. I just like to know some tips please. Just say something that will catch their attention while they're walking around. Nothing mean or too flirtatous or else they won't take you seriously. Just be friendly and nice. It should work out fine. Good luck!

im a girl, but i have this problem with guys too. i just walked up to my crush and said, (im not in elementary school) i just said hey, so where are you going next? and he answered and he said to me, what about you? and thats how i got my convo started. just ask her about random things, and then more into the convo ask more about her so you can get to know her better!

look if you build it the hoes will come so stop being so scared and if you see a girl you like stop her and talk to her everyone gets rejected sometime well not me cuz im a dime and as fine as wine so just talk to the girls!
Be confident,women like that in a man,smile says a million words,and just be yourself.Approach slightly from the front so as not to appear threatening.No cheesy pickup lines-use your head and talk sense to her and get her to laugh .Works for me
tips hmmmm... So u see the hott girl at the fair you go over to them because obviously the girl doesn't know u like her and no she's not going to make the move because girls like guys to make the moves. So you go over to her and say Hey! hows it going? she might look at you weird or give you a look like i like you or something. And then you say Im *your name* and i like to meet you or i like to know your name but don't say anything stupid like Hey babe because chances are your going to get slaped or something in less the girl like that but in my opinion i don't like it....And then you are at the fair and you say something like you from around here or u likeing the fair.....and you talk about anything u can come up with like school, the weather, what she likes, but tell about yourself too don't always put her on the spotlight all the time girls want u to join the coversation too! hope i gave u some advice if not srry.
