you could...start out with a complement about something cool that the girl has done and then like ease into a convo...

it all depends on how much u kno about them and if they're ur friends

Just say, hi, how are you, how did your classes go today.

If you don't know them, introduce yourself, and hopefully, some of the classes you share.

I would stay away, from girls, you have just seen in the hallway. Stick to those ones, with whom you share a class with.

It will get easier with practice. Hard at first, but like driving a car, or riding a bike, you soon will get the hang of it.

If you have to, make up some sort of conversation in your mind to get things started. Remember, she may shy too, and if not, will be able to ask you questions about yourself, That way, you will have a conversation going.
