Aw man... you need to either get a little tipsy, or get yourself in a situation where you have too... man just do it...How do i get the guts to talk to girls?
Everyone has fear of rejection, you really just simply have to tell yourself that it doesn't affect you, and believe it and just do it, rejections are just learning experiences

Just have swagger, dress like a prep, don't put gel in your hair, smell good, don't have holes in your pants and talk to girls in a group of your guy friends. Get confidence in talking to one or two girls you see often and then go from there. It's about building, especially in high school, I hate saying its about status but sadly when I was in high school thats how it was. All politics. As long as you're not a douche and can make people laugh you shouldn't have a problem, its just making that first step thats the hard part.

hold ur breath and trust in yourself your a boy right? (i hope so)

The art of talking to women, is so simple..it is not about 'getting the guts' its about understanding them. Women always have their radar up when a guy is trying to talk to them because most the time guys are trying to hit on them. They do all that they do cause they want a guy to hti on them, the hair, the make up, the clothes. The most gutsy move, is to merely study the woman quickly, find out something that she has done which has taken time, or is expensive, or is unique...find out what it is. A special hairstyle, a bracelet, a fancy sweater...whatever! just find a way, in passing to say something about it...either your 'sister' would love it, or 'jeez, that looks hard to have made' and be the guy who approaches as a friend with no 'hitting on her' agenda. Once her guard is down, cause you are interested in something about her, rather than just getting into her pants...now half the battle is over. Now you just have to keep conversation afloat, and at some point take the conversation from friendly to 'let's go out'...
